The new rates are as follows, and will take effect as of May 1, 2003. Single entry visa: $50 Double entry visa: $75 Multiple entry visa for six months: $100 Multiple entry visa for twelve months: $150 After 9.11 and since the break out of U.S.-Iraq War, strengthening the national security has become an important goal and task of every country. Out of security concern, the Chinese Embassy and Consulates General in United States will cease, on and from May 1, 2003, the mail (including express delivery) service for application of Chinese visas.
